Role Overview

This position is responsible for managing a comprehensive range of employee services within the Human Resources domain. The role includes providing essential information and guidance to employees regarding policies, procedures, and HR services, while fostering a positive workplace environment. This role requires on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities

Specific Duties

  1. Oversee all aspects of hourly recruitment, including temporary staffing.
  2. Facilitate New Employee Human Resources Orientation.
  3. Address and resolve employee relations issues to ensure prompt HR action and decision-making.
  4. Ensure effective communication between HR and other departments.
  5. Coordinate and manage performance evaluations for hourly employees.
  6. Administer all new hires in the HR Information System and Time and Attendance System.
  7. Develop and maintain specific Policies and Procedures.
  8. Maintain the Employee Database and filing systems.
  9. Manage all Communication Boards (both Traditional and Electronic).
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Standards Responsibilities

  1. Comply with the Collective Bargaining Agreement to prevent grievances against the Company.
  2. Achieve departmental Key Operational Indicators as established by the Department Manager.
  3. Adhere to guidelines in accordance with ISO-14001, ISO9000, IATF 16949, and Customer Specific Requirements.
Candidate Profile

We seek individuals with a College Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent training, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources setting. A Human Resources designation (CHRP) is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential. Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply company policies effectively. A high-energy, results-oriented approach is necessary, along with a strong customer focus and the ability to build relationships quickly. Excellent communication skills are required to interact effectively with all employees.
