Role OverviewThis position is responsible for managing a comprehensive range of employee services within the Human Resources domain. The role includes providing essential information and guidance to employees regarding policies, procedures, and HR services, while fostering a positive workplace environment. This role requires on-site presence.
Key ResponsibilitiesSpecific Duties
- Oversee all aspects of hourly recruitment, including temporary staffing.
- Facilitate New Employee Human Resources Orientation.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues to ensure prompt HR action and decision-making.
- Ensure effective communication between HR and other departments.
- Coordinate and manage performance evaluations for hourly employees.
- Administer all new hires in the HR Information System and Time and Attendance System.
- Develop and maintain specific Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain the Employee Database and filing systems.
- Manage all Communication Boards (both Traditional and Electronic).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Standards Responsibilities
- Comply with the Collective Bargaining Agreement to prevent grievances against the Company.
- Achieve departmental Key Operational Indicators as established by the Department Manager.
- Adhere to guidelines in accordance with ISO-14001, ISO9000, IATF 16949, and Customer Specific Requirements.
We seek individuals with a College Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent training, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources setting. A Human Resources designation (CHRP) is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential. Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply company policies effectively. A high-energy, results-oriented approach is necessary, along with a strong customer focus and the ability to build relationships quickly. Excellent communication skills are required to interact effectively with all employees.
