Job Title: Permanent NSL Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated teacher to join our team at Holy Saviour Catholic School in Marathon.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching NSL classes and implementing a shared vision consistent with the principles of Catholic Education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach NSL classes to students
  • Implement a shared vision consistent with the principles of Catholic Education
  • Integrate the Catholic Graduate Expectations and Seven Grandfather teachings within the curriculum
  • Develop and implement lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
Requirements:
  • Current member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Primary/Junior/Intermediate Qualifications
  • Indigenous Language Instructor's Program
  • Fluent in Ojibwe, both oral and written is preferred
  • Ability to implement a shared vision consistent with the principles of Catholic Education
