Position Overview:

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager in Civil Engineering. This role focuses on managing diverse water and natural resource projects, ensuring excellence throughout all phases of project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to develop tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of their communities.
  • Lead a team of experts in civil engineering, providing guidance with scientific rigor and innovative approaches.
  • Manage multiple civil engineering projects, including preparation of project scopes, fee proposals, and budget tracking.
  • Conduct client project meetings and liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to support project goals.
  • Oversee the development of engineering drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure effective contract administration, including progress estimates and change orders.
  • Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, fostering professional growth within the team.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with the ability to register with the appropriate engineering governing body.
  • Experience in linear infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater systems, stormwater management, and flood protection.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic modeling and familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
