Shipping Loader Operator

We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team at the Coldwater site. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the loader in accordance with Lafarge's Best Practices and Policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Safety: Promote a safety culture through engagement with employees, JHSC, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure the site meets or exceeds all Lafarge and regulatory guidelines.
- Production: Load rock trucks or primary hopper to ensure the plant meets daily targets. Operate a rock truck occasionally.
- Environmental Management: Ensure the site meets or exceeds all Lafarge and regulatory guidelines.
- Equipment: Ensure assigned equipment is operated and maintained to original equipment manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
- Maintenance: Perform daily inspections as part of our preventative maintenance program.
- Canadian secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Industrial plant operation experience an asset.
- Heavy equipment operation experience an asset.
- Specific mobile equipment training.
- Specific Module surface miner training.
- Operating Training Course (Toromont).
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Computer literacy an asset.
