Supply Chain Technician

Position Overview
Reporting to the Regional Materials Manager, the Logistics Management Technician - Non-Certified plays a crucial role in the procurement, reception, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment across various facilities within the region.
The individual in this role is expected to demonstrate a high level of initiative and independent judgment when determining work priorities, selecting appropriate work methods, and addressing unique situations. This position operates in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Southern Health-Santé Sud, as well as adhering to established policies.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of Grade 12 education.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and email communication.
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience in a materials management environment.
- Experience with MS Dynamics GP (Momentum) is an asset.
- Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population is essential.
- Proficiency in both official languages is required for designated bilingual roles.
- Demonstrated capability to meet the physical and mental demands of the position.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality across various formats, including paper and electronic.
- Consistent work attendance and a good record of performance.
Employment Conditions
- A valid Class 5 driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00 are required.
