Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Breton Family Foods. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting with food preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dishroom, kitchen, and serving areas, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits, and operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work in a team setting and maintain a high level of productivity. The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
