POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking two qualified Contaminated Site Specialists to enhance our Environmental Sciences team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidates. This position requires travel for fieldwork and assessments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing field teams in conducting environmental assessments, remediation, and reclamation projects;
  • Assisting in the development of technical project designs and documentation;
  • Managing project budgets, timelines, and safety protocols.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional certification with a recognized organization in the field of contaminated site management;
  • At least four years of relevant experience in site assessment and remediation;
  • Proficient in drafting detailed technical reports and proposals;
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively;
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean record.

PREFERABLE SKILLS

  • Experience in representing the interests of First Nation communities;
  • Familiarity with oil and gas site operations in Northeast BC;
  • Proficiency in a First Nation language of Western Canada.
