About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our Transaction Services team in Toronto. As a key member of our Deal Advisory practice, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality financial due diligence services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify key issues and develop strategic plans for financial analysis and coordination of work streams.
  • Evaluate a business's historical performance, key drivers of growth and profitability, and sustainability of earnings and cash flows.
  • Handle complex issues, interpret results, and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Develop and present detailed professional reports and presentations of key analysis and findings.
  • Establish credibility and build relationships with current and prospective clients as a representative of KPMG Deal Advisory.
  • Participate in engagement teams with access to senior client executives, attorneys, and private equity investors.
  • Contribute to growing the practice and provide support for proposals.
  • Train and coach junior team members and contribute to team morale.
Requirements
  • Must have CPA/CA or equivalent designation.
  • 7-10 years of Transaction Services/Mergers and Acquisitions experience, along with Accounting/Audit experience in a consulting, advisory, or private equity environment.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and coach, develop, and manage junior team members.
  • Professional verbal, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Solid investigative skills and attention to detail.
  • Business fluency in other languages is desirable (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin).
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
