As a Wheels Mechanic, you will be part of a team that performs maintenance checks, modifications, and upgrades on business aircraft. With a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction, we are looking for a skilled technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft components, including wheel assemblies, batteries, and structures.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul on components as per supplied documents and regulatory instructions.
- Train, coach, and support other employees in their roles.
- Work across different shift patterns to carry out essential maintenance tasks.
- Review and update component maintenance tasks to ensure they meet industry best practices.
- UK CAA & EASA Part 145 MRO experience and a sound technical understanding of aircraft wheels and brakes.
- At least six months of relevant aircraft/component maintenance experience in any consecutive two-year period.
- Current on all training requirements and able to interpret engineering drawings.
- Highly proficient in using standard tools, special tools, and operating ground support equipment.
- Experience using SAP or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning system.
