**Job Summary**
The King's University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment in our 4-year BSc Psychology program. Our new BSc Psychology program builds on our successful BA Psychology programs and offers students a rich and rigorous study in psychology with an emphasis on its relationship to human physiology.
**Key Responsibilities**
The ideal candidates will bring with them a dedication to excellence in teaching and in research. Candidates will demonstrate an ability to teach a variety of courses in psychology, including topics such as growth and development, biopsychology, neuropsychology, or psychopharmacology.
**Teaching Responsibilities**
Teach the equivalent of 6 courses per year in undergraduate programming, including courses in psychology, biopsychology, neuropsychology, or psychopharmacology.
**Research Responsibilities**
Engage in an ongoing scholarly research program, incorporating advanced undergraduate students into research projects.
**Service Responsibilities**
Provide ongoing service to the Psychology department, the Faculty of Social Science, and the greater university community and external stakeholders.
**Student Engagement**
Create connections and develop relationships with students through advising, research supervision, and mentoring.
**Faith Integration**
The successful candidate will demonstrate a growing and evolving ability to articulate the connection between psychology and the Christian faith, welcoming diverse students and colleagues into a shared project of understanding our society and our times in the light of core faith commitments and values.
**Research Approach**
The successful candidate will have a solid grounding in quantitative or qualitative approaches to scholarly research and will welcome the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary and collegial environment that also values autonomy and scholarly development.
