About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Devonian Hotel & Suites. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Pick up debris, empty trash containers, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires ability to work independently.
  • Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, organized, reliability, and team player.
