Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 0966447 B.C. Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
- Process Sales: Scan items, calculate daily/shift payments received, and reconcile with total sales.
- Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, and storage, and provide information on local resources and services.
- Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the retail industry.
- Support for Indigenous People: Provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to Indigenous workers, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Support for Mature Workers: Provide awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency while providing exceptional customer service.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work 40 hours per week
