About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Mission Hills Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes to our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our strict quality control measures.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage supplies and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is always well-stocked and efficient.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that our team is working effectively.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas, adhering to our high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Cuisine Specialties: Prepare and serve Japanese cuisine dishes, including sushi, sashimi, and other specialty items.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, organized, reliability, team player.
