Workplace Rehabilitation Physiotherapist

About the Role
Community Therapists is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Return to Work Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in assisting injured workers in safely returning to their pre-injury employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct job site visits and job demands analyses to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for safe return to work.
- Develop and implement graduated return to work plans in collaboration with healthcare team members and case managers.
- Liaise with healthcare team members, case managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Implement ergonomic strategies to facilitate durable return to work and promote a safe working environment.
- Combine this role with your community PT caseload to provide comprehensive care to our clients.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year experience conducting job site visits and developing return to work plans.
- Proven experience in implementing graduated return to work plans and promoting workplace health and safety.
- Current membership with the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia (CPTBC) or eligibility for registration.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with insurance payers and familiarity with WorkSafeBC programs is an asset.
