The Dishwasher Role

We are seeking a Dishwasher to join our team at PLANTA Queen Toronto. Reporting to the Culinary Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. The ideal candidate will maintain a clean and organized kitchen and whole restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the brand's vision and values
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for guests and employees
  • Uphold high standards and treat everyone with courtesy and respect
  • Remain professional and poised during peak service hours
  • Prepare station for service and complete mise en place
  • Prepare dishes during service in a high-paced kitchen
  • Ensure company and kitchen standards are met

Requirements

  • Fully understand and embody PLANTA's can-do attitude
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a wet and confined area
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
