We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team at Community Living Glengarry Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our organization, including recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Selection
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Source and screen candidates for various positions
- Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
- Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
- Employee Relations
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
- Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process
- Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits, including health, dental, and disability plans
- Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries
- Oversee payroll administration
- HR Support
- Provide HR support to management and employees
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Conduct employee training and development programs
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and other HR software
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
