Drywall Installation Job Description

Cobra Insulation Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Commercial, residential, and various locations experience
  • Dependability, flexibility, reliability, and team player skills
Working Conditions:
  • 35 to 40 hours per week
  • Permanent employment
  • English language
