About the Role

Cobras Insulation Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet project requirements
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Estimate costs and materials for drywall installation projects
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Dependability, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment
Work Environment

This role involves working in various locations, including commercial and residential settings. You will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
