Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at SAHI EXPRESS LTD. as a Logistics Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation Management: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Logistics Coordination: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations for cargo transportation, ensuring seamless coordination with dispatch teams.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, oversee all aspects of vehicle condition, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Cargo Handling: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
  • Team Collaboration: Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques, and work collaboratively with the team to achieve transportation goals.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Workload and Overtime: Manage a large workload and work overtime as required to meet transportation demands.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
