About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our team at McMillan. As a key member of our legal services team, you will work closely with our lawyers, clients, and other legal professionals to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with complex corporate transactions and reorganizations, including drafting and finalizing transaction documents and closing agendas.
  • Conduct minute book reviews and draft required updating documents.
  • Regularly maintain corporations, including public companies, and prepare documents for annual meetings and associated filings.
  • Update and maintain information in our corporate database.
  • Assist with mentoring and training of junior department members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of three years of Paralegal experience at the intermediate level or higher, with extensive experience in complex corporate transactions and reorganizations. You will also have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and able to effectively meet deadlines.
