Senior Finance Manager, Acquisitions

BJRC Recruiting is seeking a seasoned Senior Finance Manager to join our team in the Acquisitions department. As a key member of our financial management team, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of financial management and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Special Projects & Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence and review financial models to ensure accuracy and compliance. Evaluate Confidential Information Memoranda (CIM) and prepare documents for financing requirements.
  • Financial and Operational Oversight: Ensure accurate acquisition accounting, including post-closing adjustments. Prepare and review financial statements for acquired entities and work with vendors, accountants, and lawyers to manage acquisition records.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Experience in acquisitions accounting, critical thinking, problem-solving, and deadline management
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Public accounting experience, knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, and familiarity with Canadian tax rules are assets
