Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to create comprehensive proposals that meet client needs.
  • Bid Management: Identify potential projects, compile material requirements, and communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and specifications.
  • Customer Communication: Resolve project issues, follow up on outstanding quotations, and ensure quotes are complete and accurate.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate receipt of required information, post projects being bid, and maintain catalogs and price lists.
  • Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred. 2-5 years of related experience is required, with 2+ years of experience interacting with customers and/or supplier representatives.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong math and analytical skills to identify sales opportunities and develop effective proposals.
  • Business Acumen: Broad knowledge of product lines and pricing strategies to develop competitive bids.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 0-10% for business purposes.
