We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Barrie. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to our team members, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver excellent results.
  • Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate human, financial, and material resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Co-ordination and Communication: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, and represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Performance Management: Establish objectives for the organization, formulate or approve policies and programs, and select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff.
Requirements:
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or hospitality management.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Work Environment:

As an Operations Manager at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Barrie, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. You will be required to work under pressure and have excellent attention to detail.
