Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Barrie. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Work Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Objective Setting: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Language: Anglais
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a large workload.

  • Organized: The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously is crucial.
