Job Title: Senior IT Developer

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Developer to join our team. As a key member of our eDC Development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and writing code for system improvements following Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide subject matter expertise in DSV's Order Management information system (electronic Distribution Centre) and own, design, develop, and write code for system improvements following Agile methodologies.
  2. Act as a technical expert and resource to Super Users, assess systems requirements and processes to ensure they meet company standards and user requirements.
  3. Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
  4. Maintain a clean, scalable codebase and adhere to Test Driven Development (TDD).
  5. Identify automation opportunities and work towards improving issue resolution within SLA.
  6. Manage data governance tools and new feature enhancements to support data governance functions and improve user experience.
  7. Collaborate with the scrum team to translate business requirements into the product roadmap, EPICs, and sprint backlog.
  8. Provide leadership and mentoring to members of the team.
  9. Plan deliverables/roadmaps and communicate regular progress status to leadership.
  10. Perform assigned tasks to support DSV in meeting its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety, and environment, and follow all requirements as set out in the DSV Quality Health Safety Environment policy.
Requirements:

Education and Experience:
Professional master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline
10+ years of frontend and backend development experience with leading technologies

Language and Computer Skills:
English is the principal language for this position; additional languages may be required in other locations.
Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
Microsoft Office suite
Demonstrated experience with.Net8 C#, MSSQL, Angular 15+, NodeJS, Docker, Azure, Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD Pipelines
Mastery of Typescript and JavaScript
Experience with third-party UI controls preferably KendoUI
Strong experience with version control systems (Git)
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins
Demonstrated expertise in Application transformations (.Net/monolithic applications into containerized newer microservices, Kubernetes)
Experience in developing and maintaining Purchase Order Management systems for a logistics company or similar
Domain knowledge in PO orchestration
