Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Tax and Estate Planning Manager to join our growing team in Saint John, NB. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate with advisors and planning professionals to deliver exceptional client service and comprehensive wealth management solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement complex financial plans for income, estate, and savings planning.
  • Summarize legal documents and provide expert commentary on wills, family trusts, and shareholder agreements.
  • Provide advanced tax and estate planning, including AMT recovery plans, TOSI rules, and sale of business options.
  • Train and review junior analysts' work.
  • Deliver monthly tax calls, new advisor training modules, and special requests for clients.
  • Communicate with clients and collaborate with external consultants to achieve tasks.
Qualifications:
  • University degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation required.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting and tax experience.
  • In-depth taxation course an asset.
  • Extensive knowledge of finance and tax planning strategies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, and time management skills.
