Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Tax Accountant to assist our clients with their financial planning and tax preparation needs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax law, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning: Assist clients in identifying their financial goals and objectives, and develop personalized financial plans to achieve them.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit income tax returns for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Client Communication: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other accounting professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and a Chartered Accountants (CA) Designation, Charterered Professional Accountant (CPA), or Certified General Accountants (CGA) - level 3.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in accounting and tax preparation.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, including Simply Accounting, Quick Books, Caseware/Caseview, MS Excel, and MS Windows.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, organized, reliable, team player, ability to multitask, adaptable, due diligence, and proactive.
