Job Summary:
Safeway is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a regulated professional, you will be an essential part of our pharmacy team, committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners
- Ensuring prescriptions are complete and authentic
- Providing injections/vaccinations as applicable by regulations in certain jurisdictions
- Transferring prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies
- Ensuring the accuracy of prepared prescriptions
- Conducting the final check of prepared prescriptions
- Confirming the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records
Requirements:
- Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment

The salary range for this position in British Columbia is $21.50 - $31.50. We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience and skills as well as internal equity, and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
