Job Description

At UAP inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst to join our team. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless interaction between our product management and pricing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain effective collaboration with our market leaders to prepare, analyze, and present cost changes and margins.
  • Identify and report pricing and cost discrepancies.
  • Ensure the accuracy of pricing data.
  • Create new product descriptions and specifications for our product database.
  • Analyze and optimize pricing update processing times to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze weekly discrepancy reports to determine the root cause of issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Review and propose new prices for national promotions to ensure alignment with regional pricing structures.
  • Prepare the inflation report used by our senior management to calculate organic sales growth.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly price change reports published in our internal newsletter.
  • Analyze and ensure reasonable profit margins for price contract requests from our retail network and distribution centers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and database management.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to execute and follow established procedures with precision.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Collaboration with colleagues across Canada.
  • DEC or university degree in Operations Management, Logistics, or Administration.
