Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at YNT Hakka. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and development opportunities to staff members, helping them to improve their skills and knowledge in areas such as food preparation, customer service, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate the quantity of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of quality in all aspects of food preparation and service, ensuring that our customers receive a consistently excellent dining experience.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for staff members, ensuring that we have adequate coverage at all times.
Requirements
  • Criminal Record Check: A valid criminal record check is required for this position.
  • Basic Security Clearance: A basic security clearance is required for this position.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
