We are seeking a skilled Health Care Aide to join our nursing team at Alberta Health Services. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in a community setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal assistance and support to patients with daily living activities
- Deliver health care procedures and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as per the established health care plan
- Work collaboratively with patients, families, and caregivers to provide safe and quality patient-centered care
- Participate in and provide documentation of relevant in-service training and education on an ongoing basis
- Active directory status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle for business use
- Basic computer skills with Windows operating system, including Outlook and MS Teams
- Recent experience in the Home Care environment
- Medication Assistance Certification and experience
- Connect Care training/experience
