Job Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer

Are you a skilled test automation engineer looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team at Scotiabank.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain automated tests using standard test automation frameworks.
  • Contribute to manual testing processes and analyze test scenarios to be automated.
  • Deliver automation scripts in an Agile model with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Improve automated testing methodologies to enable QA SMEs to maximize test coverage.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in Test Automation using Selenium-Java.
  • Experience in creating/maintaining automation BDD/TDD framework (Using Cucumber, Maven, TestNG).
  • Knowledge of tools and frameworks such as WebdriverIO, REST Assured, Cucumber, Mocha, and Axe-core.
  • Hands-on experience with web-based applications and API web services.
  • Hands-on experience using tools like SOAP UI, Postman, or similar.
  • Good knowledge of version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket.
  • Good knowledge of writing SQL/NoSQL queries.
  • Scripting experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Xray, and test management tool HP ALM.
  • Very good knowledge of QA processes and hands-on experience of preparing testing artifacts.
  • Well knowledge of Agile principles and flexibility to adapt to new environments.
  • Previous experience in major Canadian banks or Financial Institutions is an asset.
