Job Title: Test Development Engineer

Celestica Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Test Development Engineer to join our team. As a Test Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automatic test equipment and test programs for product testing and design verification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop technical solutions for product testing and design verification
  • Design and develop test solutions, including hardware and software elements, and system integration, qualification, and installation
  • Debug tester issues using design of experiments, tools, and failure analysis methodologies
  • Stabilize test solutions for manufacturing, working with process teams to optimize cycle time and yield
  • Collaborate with product design teams to provide feedback on product testability, test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics, and user experience
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Applied Science or Engineering in Computer, Electrical, Software, or Computer Science
  • Minimum 1-2 years of software development experience on Linux OS (Ubuntu, CentOS, Redhat) with minimum one language (Python preferred)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of engineering development and manufacturing operations support (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Strong operations background (electronics manufacturing experience preferred, not mandatory)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Development experience with National Instruments LabView
  • Development experience with National Instruments TestStand
  • Board design and layout experience
