Job Title: Test Development Engineer

Celestica Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Test Development Engineer to join our team. As a Test Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automatic test equipment and test programs for product testing and design verification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test solutions, including hardware and software elements, and system integration, qualification, and installation.
  • Develop production test strategies based on product design specifications.
  • Debug tester issues using design of experiments, tools, and failure analysis methodologies.
  • Stabilize test solutions for manufacturing, working with process teams to optimize cycle time and yield.
  • Collaborate with product design teams to provide feedback on testability, test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics, and user experience.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of software development experience on Linux OS (Ubuntu, CentOS, Redhat) with a minimum of one language (Python preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of engineering development and manufacturing operations support (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Strong operations background (electronics manufacturing experience preferred, not mandatory).
  • Knowledge of industry and quality standards, including knowledge of testing software, processes, and methodologies, and failure analysis.
  • Ability to evaluate materials, gather and analyze data, and determine root cause of problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Development experience with National Instruments LabView.
  • Development experience with National Instruments TestStand.
  • Board design and layout experience.
  • Development experience in Aerospace & Defense and/or Healthcare industry.
  • Development experience in Hyperscale, Cloud Connectivity, and/or DataCenter industry.
