Job Title: Warehouse Foreman/Woman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Foreman/Woman to join our team at Tedcons Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out as needed
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Conduct performance reviews of team members
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with a high level of activity
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physical demands of the job include standing, walking, and lifting
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication
Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week
