Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Jealous Pizza N Donair. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food counter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
    • Portion and wrap foods
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
