We are seeking a skilled and experienced Yardhand / Installer to join our team at BrandSafway. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation and maintenance of our equipment and rental stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Erect and dismantle mast climbing platforms and swing stages with precision and attention to detail.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to lay out work effectively.
  • Perform routine maintenance on rental equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and preparation of rental equipment to meet high standards.
  • Sort, inspect, and grade stock to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Assist in picking and packing orders, maintaining accurate inventory control, and performing inventory counts.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles by hand or using a forklift, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Coordinate trucking into and out of the yard, managing related shipping documents.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to company standards.
  • Support service and maintenance record keeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform duties in a safe and professional manner, utilizing appropriate safety equipment.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working on construction sites.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver Licence.
  • Ability to work at heights, with training and certification provided.
