Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Countertop Installer to join our team at TAV STONE LIMITED. As a Countertop Installer, you will be responsible for installing countertops in residential and commercial settings. This is a permanent position requiring 40 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine layout and installation procedures for countertops
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
  • Utilize hand and power tools for installation
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications for installations
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in countertop installation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work at heights
Working Conditions
  • Work outdoors and in various locations
  • Work in a non-smoking environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player
Security and Safety
  • Criminal record check and driving record check (abstract) required
Transportation/Travel Information
  • Own transportation and valid driver's license required
Work Setting
  • Construction, renovation, and installation of countertops
Asset Languages
  • Vietnamese language skills an asset
Education
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in countertop installation
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-paced environment and physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to work accurately and handle heavy loads
  • Repetitive tasks and overtime required
Weight Handling
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
