Job Title: Swimming Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swimming Instructor to join our team at The Diving Locker. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons to individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for swimming and a proven track record of delivering high-quality instruction. You will be responsible for creating engaging and safe learning environments, developing lesson plans, and providing feedback to students.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach swimming lessons to individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their swimming skills
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
  • Assist with the coordination of recreational, sport, and fitness events
  • Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs
  • Maintain and repair sports equipment
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Basic security clearance
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
