Job Title: Community Life Coordinator

The Community Life Coordinator is a key member of the Tyndale University team, responsible for overseeing student programming and development. This role requires a strong understanding of student needs and a passion for creating engaging experiences that foster community and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate student events and programs, including orientation activities and campus-wide events.
  • Provide guidance and support to student leaders, including training and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of student services and programs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student retention and community development.
  • Manage and maintain relevant websites and social media accounts.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in student development or higher education.
  • Managerial experience and strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in Higher Education, Student Development, or a related field.
  • Experience working with young adults and developing programs for this demographic.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Mental Health First Aid certification.
Working Conditions:

The Community Life Coordinator will work in a general office environment, with occasional evening and weekend work required. The role may involve working with challenging individuals and managing high levels of stress.

Salary Range: $44,000 to $48,500
