We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Financial Crimes Unit, you will play a critical role in preventing and detecting financial crimes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial management advice and support to our business groups, ensuring alignment with our enterprise goals and governance standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor to our business groups, assessing their financial performance and condition.
- Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of financial systems, including SmartView and S4.
- Present financial results to our senior leadership teams and provide insights on financial performance.
- Collaborate with our business groups to align key performance indicators with financial forecasts and plans.
- Identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
- Break down complex financial problems and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and track financial performance, addressing any issues that arise.
- Typically between 5-7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Accounting designation (CPA) preferred.
- Deep knowledge of financial systems, including SmartView and S4.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including the ability to create and modify macros.
- Strong knowledge of Fraud software systems is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with multiple competing priorities.
- Strong financial skills, including forecasting analysis and financial reporting.
We offer a competitive salary range of $74,800.00 - $138,600.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and retirement savings plans.
