Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and promoting company sponsor programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets all customers in a polite and friendly manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Processes all purchase transactions in a timely and efficient manner, including deactivation of merchandise with respect to the EAS Program.
  • Promotes company sponsor programs, such as credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives.
  • Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise, ensuring safe work practices are followed.
  • Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling and adherence to relevant company policies.
  • Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong customer service focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
