Key Responsibilities- Design and Illustration
- Produce high-quality 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations
- Adapt existing illustrations to meet client needs
- Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations
- Project Management
- Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians
- Co-ordinate sub-contracting
- Client Communication
- Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
- Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
- Team Leadership
- Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers
- Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
- Education
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
