Job Summary

SmartSave Financial Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our financial management team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing objectives, and formulating policies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate human, material, and financial resources to support business initiatives.
  • Policy Formulation: Establish and approve policies to guide business decisions.
  • Leadership: Supervise a team of 5-10 people and provide guidance on performance reviews.
  • Technology: Utilize MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word to support business operations.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure compliance with security and safety protocols, including criminal record checks.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload and high attention to detail.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote cultural competency and awareness.
  • Equity and Inclusion: Apply hiring policies that promote diversity and equity, including anonymizing the hiring process.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in financial management or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
