About the Role

Sboc 7 is seeking a highly skilled Process Plant Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the overall management of people, safety, and production associated with the Process Plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and deliver the strategic plan to ensure departmental performance is executed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor and supervise the overall operation of the processing facilities, including all support systems and infrastructure.
  • Safety and Efficiency: Promote a culture where health, safety, and environment are always the highest priority, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Leadership Development: Manage performance by setting expectations, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback and coaching to direct reports.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the departmental budget, identifying efficiencies and improving processes to achieve business plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering – Chemical, Mineral Processing, or Metallurgy or a related field and experience is required.
  • 10-15 years related work experience, with a minimum of 10 years managing teams is required.
  • P.Eng. or eligibility to obtain it is required.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
  • Continuing education in the areas of progressive mining methods is an asset.
