Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Batter Operator to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for mixing and applying French Fry batter to meet product specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment associated with batter mixing and application.
  • Work closely with the ingredient room/forklift operator to ensure smooth production.
  • Assist the Fryer Operator with boil-outs and other tasks as needed.
  • Monitor batter consistency and adjust mixing procedures accordingly.
  • Formulate ingredient mixtures for different products.
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records in SAP.
  • Perform routine product testing and record data in OSI PI.
Requirements
  • Ability to work shift work on a rotating basis.
  • Effective written, oral, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with process control testing and entering results into SAP/OSI PI.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to safely follow heat stress policy guidelines.
  • Physically capable of performing job duties, including lifting 40-50 lbs when required.
  • Able to climb stairs or ladders to check equipment and product.
