About the Role

The Regional Vice-President is a key leadership position at IG Wealth Management, responsible for driving growth and success in their region. This role requires a strong leader who can inspire and motivate a team of advisors to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Talent Acquisition and Development: Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to build a strong recruiting culture that attracts top talent and supports the growth of advisor teams.
  2. Client Acquisition and Retention: Play a key role in attracting and acquiring new high-net-worth clients and business owners, while also retaining existing clients through exceptional service and support.
  3. Technology Adoption and Innovation: Champion the adoption of new technologies and innovations that impact advisors and clients, ensuring seamless integration and maximum benefit.
  4. Region Leadership and Mentoring: Provide strategic direction and guidance to advisors, Division Managers, and other team members, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.
  5. Performance and Personal Development Coaching: Offer coaching and mentoring to advisors to help them achieve their goals and develop their skills, leading to improved performance and client satisfaction.
  6. Culture and Diversity: Establish and promote a respectful and inclusive workplace culture, celebrating diversity and promoting a culture of belonging.
  7. Region Finance Management: Oversee the financial management of the region, ensuring effective budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  8. Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth, improve performance, and achieve business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. University degree in a relevant field
  2. Previous management experience, preferably in leading large teams
  3. 10+ years' experience in the financial services industry or a related field
  4. CFP, PFP, or RRC designation (or commitment to earn designation)
  5. Branch Manager Certification preferred (will be required upon hire)
  6. Financial Services Designations preferred (CLU, CFA, CA, CMA, etc.)
  7. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  8. Proven strategic planning and business planning ability
