About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our Long Term Care team at Trillium Community & Retirement Living. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide Resident Supervision and Assistance
  2. Provide Resident Care and Services
  3. Support Resident Comfort & Well-being

As a Personal Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, and hygiene, as well as assisting with communication and connections. You will also be responsible for administering medication under the supervision of a registered health professional and ensuring residents have access to mobility and assistive devices.

Requirements
  • Completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution
  • Internationally Educated Nurse with a degree in Nursing
  • Detailed-oriented and proficient in procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatment and providing bedside care
  • Exercise tact and diplomacy in working with seniors, their families, and general visitors
