Order Desk Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Desk Coordinator to join our team in the West Island. As a key member of the parts department, you will be responsible for preparing and forwarding orders to suppliers, coordinating shipments, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and forward orders to suppliers, including entering orders in the accounting system and following up with suppliers for proforma invoices.
  • Coordinate shipments with the imports department and ensure timely receipt of orders.
  • Verify orders with suppliers and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Receive and process purchase orders in the system.
  • Administer the online parts store and follow up with the ecommerce department.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department, transportation, and warehouse teams.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual English/French (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with computers and data entry experience.
  • Experience in the forklift industry is an asset.
