Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness of orders
  • Pick and pack customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Load and unload trucks, operate forklift and other material handling equipment
  • Count and verify inventory levels, identifying discrepancies and reporting to management
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience; experience with inventory control systems an asset
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy
